X-Factor Winner

What a cutie. Does America have some of law against attractive artists winning these idol-type events? I guess they don't want people thinking they were picked for looks and not talent. But that brings up the fact that none have really had talent either.

Be A Money Genius

I know I often write posts relating to finance and loans and whatnot, basically because there are a lot of businesses out there offering a lot of options. For a change, here's one that offers all the options in one place.

FinanceGenius helps you with all types of spending, including insurance, student loans, mortgages, credit, autos, and solutions for your budget. They have some good info on Used Car Warranty, too. Since I've never bought a brand new car - and never will unless it's electric - this is useful knowledge for me.

Check FinanceGenius out. It may save you money.

I Rock Iraq

Talk about staying with your passion despite opposition.

If music drives you as hard as it drives these guys, then you should never give up. You don't have to be Ono or Bono to make a change in the world.

Away From Winter

I already booked my Christmas holiday for Las Vegas, but what was I thinking? I had no idea it would be so cold there, I mean it's in the middle of a desert, right? If I had done my research, I'd be heading for a sweet spot in Spain.

It's not too late for you! Take a look at for some unbelievable deals on hotels in Spain. Don't take a gamble like I did and plan your trip to include the birthplace of Picasso. In the Gothic Quarter, you can find Picasso and Dali exhibitions. Other art offerings include the Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art (MACBA) and the Museu National d' Art Catalunya (MNAC). Check out hotels in Barcelona for prices.

Another spot sometimes overlooked by travelers is Malaga. If you go, you can visit the Picasso Museum, the Caves of Nerja, and attend the Festival de Malaga. Look here for hotels in Malaga.

You don't have to like bullfighting to love Spain. There's so much to do! Enjoy.

Emmich Busy After Dumping Label

Indie rock artist Val Emmich has been keeping busy over the last few months recording the follow up to the critically acclaimed and independently released "Sunlight Searchparty" and its companion album "Songs, Volume 1: Woodstock."

Both albums follow Emmich through a musical transformation shortly after he ended a tumultuous relationship with his former record label Epic/SonyBMG (hiss!). The so far untitled album will break mid-January and will feature Blake Sennett of Rilo Kiley. Emmich look for the album to be released in spring 2008.

Lap Band Details

What the heck's a lap band? Probably not what you're thinking. For one thing, it has nothing to do with music, and for another, it doesn't happen on your lap.

Lap bands - or Laparoscopic Adjustable Gastric Banding - is a medical procedure to help people with severe weight issues to lose weight.

JourneyLite doctors create small incisions to insert an inflatable silicone band to wrap around the upper part of the stomach. The band is tightened, creating a small pouch which limits food intake. If you want to learn more about JourneyLite and the revolutionary lap band technique, visit "weight loss Conroe" for more details.
